Motion Picture News reported that Bushman, Bayne, Noble and the rest of the cast and crew went to Jacksonville, Florida to film two Quality-Metro features: Man and His Soul and The Red Mouse. The former was released January 31, 1916, while the latter was scheduled for release February 21, 1916. It May never have gone into production, however, as there is no record of its release, and on April 19, 1916, Metro released The Half Million Bribe, starring Hamilton Revelle and Marguerite Snow, which was based on the William Hamilton Osborne novel, The Red Mouse: A Mystery Romance.
