Synopsis
Clarence Webb manages a mineral spring health spa for owner Gladys Saunders, and puts drugs in the "natural" waters in order to attract wealthy hypochondriacs. When Gladys, fresh from college, comes to the spa, Clarence makes romantic overtures, but she turns him down, even though her late father had always assumed that she would marry Clarence. Gladys becomes interested in Dr. Sherwood, a visitor to the spa, but Clarence threatens to confess to drugging the waters, and thereby ruin Gladys' business, if she continues her relationship with the doctor. However, Sherwood tells Gladys that he can cure the spa's patients without drugs, and after he succeeds spectacularly, thus defusing Clarence's threat, he and Gladys begin planning their marriage.
