The Tigress

Stella repulses the attentions of the Governor of Etruria, so in retaliation the Governor has her husband killed and kidnaps her child. She is thrown into prison but escapes disguised as a dead body. The body is thrown into the sea and she escapes to America where she becomes a spy seeking revenge on all men. Meanwhile her child has been adopted by two young Americans studying in Europe. The husband becomes a diplomat from whom the band of spies to which Stella belongs wants to steal some important papers. When Stella learns that the diplomat is the kind adoptive father of her own child, she risks her life to save him.
