Imar the Servitor
Film Details
Synopsis
Imar, an Arab trader's slave, saves the life of John Raines, an American tourist lost in the desert, and the two men become fast friends. Before John returns to the United States, he gives Imar a photograph of his fiancée, but upon his arrival home, he learns that she has married a brutal horse trader and journeyed with her husband to the Arabian desert. There the horseman meets Imar's master, who attacks the American's wife. Misinterpreting the situation, the horseman accuses his wife of infidelity and beats her, whereupon Imar recognizes the distressed woman as John's sweetheart and rescues her. Imar flees with the woman across the desert, where they are met by John, who has been summoned by a telegram. In a melee, Imar's master and the horseman are slain.
