Synopsis
Canadian Bob Cooper, who is down-on-his-luck, returns to his rural home to find that his father has been shot and his wife Jane has run off with married man Jim Dawson. Bob follows the pair and kills Dawson, but discovering that his wife is dangerously ill, he lets her die in peace, then leaves for a mining camp. Meanwhile, Helen, Dawson's wife, hears of her husband's death and vows revenge upon his killer. By chance, when Cooper is wounded some time later, he finds refuge in Helen's home. She nurses him back to health and they fall in love, but when she discovers his true identity, she calls the mounted police. Later, however, realizing her true love for Bob, she helps him escape and they plan a new life together.
