Synopsis
Timothy D. Sullivan, nicknamed "Big Tim," was raised on the Lower East Side of New York. Starting life as a newsboy, Sullivan eventually rises to become a United States Senator. Never forgetting his origins, the "Bowery Senator" establishes an annual Christmas dinner for his constituents, who pray for the repose of his soul after his death.
