Synopsis
While New York government agents investigate the smuggling of opium across the Canadian border, drug distributor James Maxwell is slain by Big Bill, his cohort. A clerk in Maxwell's brokerage firm is suspected of the crime, but he escapes to Canada, where he secures the services of government agent Elsie Moore. Disguised as a Chinese, Elsie begins working for Big Bill. While rifling through his belongings, she discovers evidence incriminating him and thus exonerating the clerk.
