Synopsis
On one of Jack London's voyages on the Snark , photographer Martin Johnson documents life in the South Pacific. His subjects include scantily clad girls dancing in the Fiji Islands, natives of Borneo catching huge sea turtles, fishermen netting flying fish in New Guinea, Maoris diving for coins in New Zealand, volcanoes erupting in Java, and beriberi victims huddling together in Sumatra.
