Synopsis
Buck Anderson, a young Texan, saves Bill Adams from Mexican bandits. In gratitude, Adams gives Buck a job on his ranch, where Buck antagonizes Lacey, the foreman, and falls in love with Virginia McFarland, the daughter of Adams' partner. McFarland and Adams decide to transport a large shipment of money in a buckboard driven by Lacey and accompanied by McFarland and Virginia. Lacey, who has been stealing cattle, arranges with his men to hold up the party. Buck sees the theft, follows the bandits to a cabin, and gets the drop on them; but he is tricked and forced to flee, taking Virginia with him. Buck is caught by the bandits but frees himself and goes after Lacey, who has taken both Virginia and the money with him. Lacey's horse is shot from under him, and he steals a railroad engine. Buck follows on his horse, boards the engine, and fights it out with Lacey. The train crashes through a burning bridge; Buck and Virginia escape; and Lacey is captured by the Federales.
