Synopsis
Axel Svenson is valet to Conrad Sterling, a rich man's do-nothing nephew who manages regularly to get himself into scrapes. To make matters worse, Conrad secretly loves showgirls (in particular, Mary Mason), and his uncle threatens to discontinue his allowance unless he behaves himself. He attempts to pass himself off as a lumberman from the Northwest and succeeds until he determines to give a show for war veterans at his uncle's estate over the weekend. Complications ensue for all involved, particularly Axel and Vera Fontaine, who wants to break into the movies.
