Notes

Film Daily news items indicate that this was to be the first of six feature films made by F. P. Productions, a New York-based company, and that principal shooting was completed over a period of five working days. Editing of the picture was finished by late November 1932, and the film was to be released by Stanley Distributing Corp. At the time, the company was beginning preparations for their second production, Dance Hall Dames, which was to go into production on 1 Dec. However, no further information concerning the release of The Horror, or the production of Dance Hall Dames has been located. An ad in the 1933 Film Daily Year Book for director Bud Pollard lists six "Exploitation Features" as 1933-34 releases. In addition to The Horror and Dance Hall Dames, the ad lists the following titles, for which no further information has been located: Lunatic at Large; Metropolitan Murders; Framed; and The Green Jade.
