Synopsis
Scenes showing the Caucasus Region, focusing on the tribes living there, are presented, including Svanetia, known as the "land without wheels," where great towers of refuge exist; the Georgian Military Highway; the Khevsurs, called a "backward people," with their leather shields, brass knuckles and ancient chain mail; the Rachas of Gebi, the most famous of the Caucasian bakers; the people of Kabardinia and Balkaria, who are the richest farmers in the Soviet Union; and the mountain villages of Daghestan.

Although no confirmed release date has been found, evidence indicates that the film May have been released in 1938. This film was part of an illustrated lecture program by Julien Bryan, in which he would speak for ten minutes preceding the film and then supply live narration to the motion pictures.
