Synopsis
The film presents some of the many leisure activities enjoyed by people of the Soviet Union. Scenes from more than twenty productions of Moscow's theaters are shown, including an amateur night and the Russian ballet. Scenes shot backstage at theaters and in motion picture studios are presented, as are scenes showing filmmakers on location. Other scenes include Moscow's Park of Culture and Rest; parachuting; basketball, soccer and volley ball; the Russian game gorodkee ; a wedding in Daghestan; puppets; workers and peasants vacationing in palaces that once belonged to the nobility; rest homes, resorts and mountain tourist camps; bathing beaches; a factory nursery; and dances of mountain tribesmen.

Although no confirmed release date has been found, evidence indicates that the film May have been released in 1938. This film was part of an illustrated lecture program by documentary filmmaker Julien Bryan, in which he would speak for ten minutes preceding the film and then supply live narration to the motion pictures.
