Synopsis
On the day of her wedding to Count Barski, who has been paid to marry her, Marion Bronson runs away with her maid Jenny. When their car runs out of gas, Marion leaves Jenny and hitchhikes to the airport, where she stows away on an airplane. Unknown to her, the plane is piloted by Eric Lane, an undercover government agent investigating a series of mail robberies. He intends to lure the thieves into the open, but when he discovers Marion on board, the two must parachute to safety. Thinking that Marion is part of the conspiracy, Eric arrests her, but before he can take her away, they are captured by Nick Regan and Muggs, two of the mail robbery gang. They are joined by their cohorts, Spike and Pete, who take them to their boss, Arnold. So that the gang will not know that Eric is a federal agent, Marion tells them that he kidnapped her and was going to hold her for ransom. Although Arnold does not completely trust Eric, Eric talks him into making him part of the gang. Arnold allows Marion to leave, but after Eric is gone, he recaptures her. Meanwhile, Eric contacts his supervisors and learns that Marion has not returned home. He then sends up a decoy plane and is able to capture the gang. Now that the gang is in jail, Marion and Eric elope.
