Synopsis

Duke Porter is in love with Buck Allen's girl friend, Betty Thorpe. Not knowing that Buck is the Cheyenne Kid, sheriff Hank Bates stops United States marshal Utah Kane from shooting him, but then Utah blocks Buck's escape trail, causing Buck to circle back to Betty's house. Meanwhile, Gorman, an outlaw, decides to capture Buck for the $5,000 reward. During a shootout between Buck and Gorman, Betty is wounded. In order to get medical help for her, Buck surrenders to Utah. While Utah questions Betty, Buck escapes and returns to Betty's, where he finds Duke. He is able to prove that Duke is actually the person who stole the payroll, and after Utah arrests him, Buck and Betty plan to marry.
