Synopsis

Amos Boswell, the owner of a number of warehouses which have been robbed by a group of thieves, calls special investigator Kennedy when the police fail to apprehend the robbers. Boswell then calls the members of his firm for a meeting, during which Kennedy and his dog Tarzan are introduced. Boswell believes that the robberies are the work of an inside man and implies as much during the meeting. Boswell's secretary Sheila is suspected by Kennedy when she is found eavesdropping behind a door, but Boswell and Graham, the junior partner in the firm, come to her defense. That evening, after Kennedy has apologized to Sheila, he visits her father Mallory, who is the firm's night watchman. After sending Tarzan to get Mallory's dinner, Kennedy decides to take a look around the dock while Mallory makes his rounds. Mallory comes face to face with the thieves, who are busy looting the warehouse, and Kennedy joins the fight when he returns. The thieves overpower Kennedy and throw him into the water, where he is saved by Tarzan. Kennedy stays on the trail of the thieves and, with the help of Sheila and Tarzan, he finally discovers that the leader of the gang is Graham. Kennedy is able to round up the thieves and they are put behind bars.
