Synopsis
Jack Savage, a rancher, refuses to sell his property to John Merritt, a millionaire newly interested in ranching. Jack later meets Helen Merritt and falls in love with her, not knowing that she is the wealthy man's daughter. Harvey Gregg, Merritt's lawyer, learns that there is gold on Jack's land and gains possession of the ranch on a legal technicality. Jack marries Helen and regains possession of the ranch on another technicality.
