Synopsis
After Mark Hanlon gambles away his fortune and his equity in his house, his daughter Molly marries Kirk, proprietor of the gambling hall; and as mistress of the gaming tables she meets young Miles Rand, exiled to the West for his reckless behavior. He falls in love with Molly and protects her from Kirk until the latter apparently dies in a saloon fire. Two years later, however, Kirk finds Molly and Miles in New York and is himself fatally shot in a fight. Miles is arrested and is about to be convicted for the murder when Devlin, Kirk's former handyman, admits to the crime.
