Synopsis

Danao, the head of the Moro pearl divers on a small island in the Sulu Sea, falls in love with Minda, the granddaughter of chief Datu Tanbuong. When Hadji-Razul, the cruel, polygamous chief of the Tao natives, sees Min da, he desires to take her for his wife, and kidnaps her and the other Moro women while their men are away diving for pearls. An eclipse of the sun signals a warning to the Moro men, and Danao goes to the neighboring island village to rescue his beloved. After battling his rival, Danao is eventually successful and returns Minda and the other women to their own island.
