Synopsis
Rosario, the daughter of a rancher, and Antonio, who comes from a poor family, have been friends since childhood. Before thinking of marriage, Antonio, ambitious and daring, leaves in search of his fortune and a social position which will please his loved one's family. Two years later, with Antonio away and her father dead, Rosario falls into a trap set by a rich suitor, the owner of a neighboring ranch, who, to facilitate a marriage between him and Rosario and combine the two properties, bribes the secretary to the court to alter the father's will. When Antonio returns, with a small amount of money saved, he exposes the crook and regains his sweetheart.

Notes
According to a pre-production news item in January 1934 in Cine Mundial, George Rigas was to be in the film. A February 1934 Film Daily news item states that the film had been completed and that negotiations were under way for its release in the Latin American market. No information concerning any release before the March 1936 Los Angeles opening has been located. However, this film May have been a re-issue, or a new edition, of the 1930 film La rosa de fuego, which was produced by Tom White Productions. The films are based on the same story, have the same director and the same two leading cast members. Amor que vuelve May be a recut version with new dubbing, and newly-shot scenes.
