Synopsis

In the 1830's, when General Anastasio Bustamente is the President of Mexico, Governor Manuel Victoria imposes his own rule in Upper California until a revolt breaks out against him. A frightened young woman attempts to free her father from the governor's wrath by informing against the rebellion's leader. During a bloody raid, when the young woman is about to be killed, a mysterious stranger rescues her. When the danger passes, she realizes that her rescuer is the man against whom she informed.
