Synopsis

Film director Jim Carlton is revising the script for his new film in his Hollywood Hills home when Candy Wilson, a babysitter, arrives. Through a misunderstanding, Candy arrives just as Carlton's wife, Mona, is taking their child, Michael, to visit her mother for the weekend. Candy stays when Jim insists that he pay her for her trouble, and she reads through his script while he is out of the room. She tells Jim that the script, about the younger generation, is phony, and she offers to show Jim how youth really are. She takes him to the Sunset Strip to meet her friends A.K., Snitch, and Mary Mary. He smokes some marijuana with them, gets high, and is put to bed. Meanwhile, Mona, who is secretly a heroin addict, has left her son with her mother and gone to meet dope peddler Rich. Rich forces her to let him use her husband's boat to collect a consignment of drugs from Mexico and smuggle them back to the States. Mona goes along with Rich and his assistants Sancho and Leon. The pickup is made, but they are warned by ship-to-shore telephone to stay away for a few more hours. On Saturday morning, Candy and Jim, having spent the night together, go to a motorcycle race and fly Jim's private plane to his mountain retreat. When Jim learns on Monday that Mona is on the boat and in trouble, he and Candy fly back, and he circles the bay to find his boat. Rich, in an effort to save his drug cache, rams the boat into a pier and makes off with the dope. He is stopped by an entire motorcycle gang led by Candy, who has been alerted by Jim, and they destroy the drugs they don't want, take the rest, and leave Rich tied up. As the police close in, Jim and Mona are reunited while Candy rides away calling out "Ciao."
