Synopsis

Rick Martin, a compulsive womanizer, operates an icehouse near a large city. Fred, his twin brother, is a local sheriff. When Rick tries to seduce stripper Venus De Marco, she hits him on the head with a bottle. The blow causes him to become homicidal, and he strangles Venus and hides her body in the icehouse. Horrified, he goes to a psychiatrist for help but cannot admit his crime. Meanwhile, Fred is assigned to investigate the case. Rick, again stricken with a homicidal urge, kills Jan and dumps her body in the icehouse. He then gets drunk at the strip club and attempts to kill Kandy but is ejected from the club and makes his escape. Fred goes to the club, and Kandy tells him that her assailant is his double. He rushes to the icehouse to confront his brother, and in the struggle that follows, Fred falls and is killed. Posing as Fred, Rick resigns from the sheriff's force and returns to his icehouse, not knowing how long he can maintain his duplicity.
