Synopsis

Following a sexual misadventure with her boyfriend Henry, high school graduate Lilian consults Dr. Petersen, hoping to cure her frigidity. Through word and deed the gynecologist helps the adolescent to discover her own sexuality. Satisfied, he equips her with a diary in which she is to record multiple sexual experiences to be acquired during a summer spent hitchhiking in Europe. According to the doctor's orders Lilian acts in a pornographic film in Sweden; attends an orgy with the lesbian Lise and the count Jan in Copenhagen; observes female wrestlers and whips an aristocratic sadomasochist in Hamburg; forms a threesome with two homosexuals in Italy; and makes love to the artisan Pierre in Paris. On the return flight to Copenhagen Lilian meets Henry and shares with him the fruits of her newly-acquired knowledge. She later presents Dr. Petersen with the diary, which he will use as source material for his doctoral dissertation.
