Synopsis

Lisa, a leading fashion designer whose reputation is declining, drinks heavily and becomes promiscuous with young men. To obtain rest and self-control, she rents a house in the country, and there she becomes involved with Ingrid, her 17-year-old neighbor. Lisa lures Ingrid away from her parents and her naive, prudish fiancé, Harald, by promising Ingrid a modeling career in Stockholm and assuring her parents that their daughter will be safe with her. In Stockholm, Ingrid indulges in a "sexual smorgasbord," unaware of Lisa's mounting desire for her. On a visit home, Ingrid brushes off Harald, pointing to the sexual freedom she enjoys, and she returns to the city and to Lisa, with whom she embarks on her first lesbian affair.
