Synopsis
In the border country of Texas, celebrating the engagement of Gregor MacGregor to Rosita, the Scottish MacGregors get into a friendly brawl with the Irish Donovans. The melee is interrupted when Maldonado's bandits raid the party and carry off a trunk containing all the wealth of the MacGregors. Saying goodby to their fiancées (Gregor's six brothers are engaged to the six Donovan daughters), the seven MacGregor sons split up and go after Maldonado's gang. Though they succeed in preventing the bandits from robbing a bank, the brothers are unable to find Maldonado's hideout until they encounter a dentist, accompanied by his daughter Dolly, who has been summoned by the outlaw chief. From their concealment in the dentist's wagon, the MacGregors infiltrate the hideout and succeed in absconding with the bandit's treasure. When the jealous Rosita learns that Gregor is in the company of the flirtatious Dolly, she sets out after her fiancé and is captured by the bandits. Gregor goes to her rescue but is captured and held with Rosita as hostage pending the restoration of Maldonado's treasury. Outraged, Gregor's brothers storm the bandit's camp and rescue the young couple. Though the family is forced to take shelter in an abandoned railway car, they are saved when the remaining MacGregors, assisted by the Donovans and a tribe of friendly Indians, arrive to put an end to Maldonado and his gang.
