Synopsis

Sisters Justine and Juliette live in a Puerto Rican slum and survive by taking menial jobs. Justine, ambitious and jealous, is enraged by the mistaken thought that her first boyfriend Felipe has approached the innocent Juliette. Justine sells her victimized sister to a gang of hoodlums who rape her. Justine goes to New York to seek money and power. She grows wealthy as the mistress of powerful men, and she eventually returns to Puerto Rico with her latest lover. Justine is infuriated by her sister's perpetual innocence when she sees Juliette again, now with a child as a result of the rape. She again sells Juliette, this time to the syndicate run by her lover. The battle between good and evil climaxes with a violent and bloody confrontation.
