Synopsis
The evil wizard Magribinets learns that Aladdin, the son of a poor widow in Bagdad, is destined to find the magic lamp, and he sets out to find the youth. Magribinets saves Aladdin's life when the youth commits the offense of gazing into the eyes of Princess Boodoor [Budur], the sultan's daughter. Aladdin in gratitude descends into the underground kingdom to help Magribinets find the lamp, but upon emerging with the treasure he is attacked by the wizard. Aladdin, fearing for his life, accidentally rubs the lamp, and a genie appears to do his bidding. The genie obeys Aladdin's command to bring the princess to him, but their love is hindered by the sultan, who sends his palace guards to arrest the youth. The potentate in vain attempts to persuade the princess that her love for Aladdin has been a dream. Rescued from the sultan's dungeon by the genie, Aladdin is reunited with Boodoor, and her father at last gives his consent to their marriage.
