Synopsis

In 1850 Texas, the notorious Mexican outlaw Jose Gomez escapes with the help of his childhood sweetheart, Eden, while being transported from one prison to another. As he returns to the town of his birth, he is pursued by Luke Chilson, a renowned bounty hunter. A band of outlaws also flock to the little town and form a gang under the leadership of Jose. The townspeople, led by Eden, also rally to his support, refusing to believe that the young man they knew as a boy is anything worse than a victim of circumstance. When Chilson arrives, he is captured, tied up in a stable, and sadistically tortured by Jose. After Jose has robbed some of the townspeople and committed cold-blooded murder, however, Eden finally realizes that her sympathy is being wasted on the wrong man, and she cuts Chilson free. Faster on the draw than his adversaries, Chilson shoots down Jose and his gang one by one and then rides off to collect his bounty fee.
