Synopsis
During a civil war in medieval Japan the warrior god Majin is encased in a stone statue and sealed in a mountain overlooking a castle. When the local ruler and his wife are slain by the chamberlain Samanosuke, the Prince Tadafumi and Princess Kozasa escape with their servant Kogenta to the mountain. Ten years later Tadafumi and Kogenta descend into the village and learn that Samanosuke has enslaved its inhabitants. The chamberlain, however, imprisons the pair and sends his minions to destroy Majin. Overcome by grief, Kozasa prays to Majin to deliver Tadafumi and Kogenta. Touched, the god comes to life. Breaking his bonds, Majin visits the village, where he halts the execution of Tadafumi and Kogenta and destroys Samanosuke.
