Synopsis

Secret agent OSS 117 is sent to Bangkok to investigate a series of mysterious epidemics in Southeast Asia. While attending a garden party at the United States Embassy, he meets the sinister Dr. Sinn and his beautiful sister Lila. The next day, 117 is drugged, kidnaped, and taken to Sinn's house on a nearby island where Lila is also imprisoned. After learning that Sinn is the head of a secret group which plans to conquer the world by unleashing a deadly virus to exterminate "inferior" races, 117 manages to escape with Lila. Further investigation leads him to a laboratory where the virus is being developed on rats. After being captured again, 117 is saved by Lila and by his secretary Eva. Aided by faithful Oriental assistants, 117 and Lila set fire to the laboratory and escape. Eva is killed during the flight, but the threat to the world's safety ends as Dr. Sinn falls into a pit filled with thousands of contaminated rats.
