Synopsis
During the summer, the Mediterranean isle of Ischia is a popular playground for young people seeking romance and adventure. On one holiday, Nicole Molino, a young Frenchwoman, and Nicola Molino, an athletic Italian youth, are booked into the same hotel room because their names are almost identical. For economic reasons they decide to share the room. Although Nicola vows not to make improper advances toward Nicole, she nevertheless tricks him onto the terrace, locks the door, and forces him to sleep in the rain. Nicola, arrested for sunbathing in the nude, is cleared of the charge when it is revealed that Nicole reported him but had intended it to be a practical joke--and by this time the name-alikes have fallen in love.
