Synopsis

Eric Voltay, a Parisian gangster, controls one of the three major narcotics syndicates in the city. Voltay's former employee, Sacha Markriff, heads a rival gang which is attempting to gain control of the narcotics trade. Sacha kidnaps Eric's brother Fred to blackmail Eric into revealing the source of his narcotics. Eric retaliates by kidnaping Nora, Sacha's sister. The two gangs agree to exchange hostages, but Sacha plots to destroy Eric's organization during the exchange. A heated gun battle ensues, and both sides are decimated. [According to a French source, Nora is not related to Sacha but becomes involved in the gang rivalry when she accepts a date with Chevrel, a member of Eric's gang. She is taken prisoner by the gang after Chevrel is murdered and Fred is kidnapped by Sacha's men. Nora accidentally kills her brutal guard, Fred's fiancée, and attempts to flee but allows herself to be seduced by Eric, a blind trumpet player. While the two gangs exterminate each other, Sacha visits Eric, and the two chiefs kill each other.]
