Synopsis

When Roxy Miller, a teenager, runs her sports car into a giant, neither her boyfriend, Tom, nor her father believes her story. Nevertheless, they decide to investigate further and find some huge footprints, but both Roxy and her father are captured by the giant, Eegah, and brought to his cave. The cave's sulfur springs give Eegah both his great size and long life. In the cave are the mummies of Eegah's ancestors. Far from frightened, Roxy improves Eegah's appearance by shaving him, and in turn Eegah gives Roxy some trinkets. Tom finds and rescues Roxy and her father, then drives with them in his dune buggy to Palm Springs. Eegah, who has fallen in love with Roxy, follows and is shot down by the police.
