Synopsis
In the year 10,000 Obro and a band of men attempt to reach Metropolis, a city where science is supreme, in order to warn King Yotar that his experimenting with the secrets of nature will lead to destruction. Obro reaches Metropolis, but Yotar, determined to make his son Elmos immortal, ignores Obro's warning and subjects Obro to torture and experiments. He is rescued by Queen Texen and Princess Mesede. When Yotar's experiments finally aggravate the forces of nature to the extent of imminent destruction, the maddened king entrusts his son to Obro and Mesede, and the three escape as Metropolis and its inhabitants disappear into the sea.
