Synopsis

Jim Kirk, an unemployed cowboy, trails the man who swindled his father to the town of Cottonwood, AZ. There, he meets an old friend who tells Jim that the man he wants may be Ed Calder, a rancher who recently moved into the area. After Jim defends Sally Kent from the threats of "Lynx" Merson, he gets a job at her father's "Crazy K" ranch. On Jim's first day at the ranch, El Garto, a Mexican bandit, raids Kent's ranch. Sally and the foreman, Bill Dobbs, are trapped in the rocks and fight with the rustlers. Jim hears the gunshots and with the help of the other cowboys, runs the bandits away. When Jim discovers that El Garto and Merson are the same person, he picks a fight with Merson. After this, Merson swears vengeance on Jim and raids the Kent ranch. Jim is ready for the attack, but the bandit tricks him and tries to kill Kent. Jim saves Kent from death when he shoots Merson. Jim then encounters Calder, the man who robbed his father, and wins the ensuing gunfight. Now that everything is cleared up, Sally agrees to let Jim be the boss of the Crazy K.
