Synopsis

Beautiful Nieta is the main attraction in her father's Sonoma cantina. Planning to manage his father's ranch, Bob Lane arrives in town after attending school in the East. Travis, another rancher, is the Lanes's main competitor and is suspected of being a rustler. When Bob and Travis meet at the cantina, they quarrel over Nieta. Bob's family wants him to marry Doris Hart, a woman of his own class, and to give up the idea of running the ranch. Doris begs Nieta to send Bob back to her, and Nieta responds that it is Doris' job to take him back. Some time later, Travis poisons one of Bob's watering holes, and when Bob confronts him, Travis' men overpower him and frame him for the poisoning. Nieta warns Bob that the sheriff, who is in league with Travis, is on his way to arrest Bob, and he escapes over the Mexican border. There he finds Travis' daughter, who is suffering from a broken leg. Bob returns the little girl and Nieta fools Travis by pretending to shoot Bob. Nieta and Bob leave the Mexican government to deal with Travis and then embrace and ride away together.
