Synopsis
Jim Powers, the son of a rancher, returns from the East. Two local toughs, "Superstitious" Smith and "Squint" Morris, mistake him for a tenderfoot and attempt to give him a hard time. Jim turns the tables on them, and Smith ends up hog-tied and humiliated. When Jim returns to the family ranch, he finds his father dead and swears vengeance. Jim later rescues Ollie Terrall, the sheriff's daughter, when her horse bolts after it is frightened by Smith and Morris. Jim then bests the two men in a rugged fight. The men subsequently rob the town bank and lay the blame on Jim, who is arrested by the sheriff. Jim escapes and captures Smith, who confesses to the bank robbery and the murder. Jim wins Ollie's love and they make plans to be wed.
