Synopsis

Xyethia Tomkins, an intrepid archeologist, goes west looking for Aztec treasure and meets Cal Edwards, who, with two other cowhands, bought the ranch formerly owned by Xyethia's brother, who died of snakebite. Jacques Ledoux, an international crook, learns that Xyethia's brother left her a rough map showing the location of the treasure and attempts to take it from her. Cal prevents this robbery, and Xyethia later gives the map to her French maid, Else, for safekeeping. Ledoux sees the transaction, however, and kidnaps Else, taking the map. Ledoux later kidnaps Xyethia. Cal rescues Else and Xyethia, recovers the map, and turns Ledoux over to the law. Cal and Xyethia fall in love.
