Synopsis

Noting his depression when his parents neglect to give him a birthday party, a fairy takes Tommy to the land of Mother Goose. As Tommy's guide, the fairy points out familiar Mother Goose characters, including all of the sons and daughters of the old woman who lived in a shoe, who are then captured by a giant. Old King Cole alerts his soldiers, however, and they rescue the children, while Tommy, thrilled by all of the nursery rhymes that he sees coming to life, completely forgets about having a birthday with no party to go with it.
