Synopsis

Striking it rich on a prospecting trip, Toyiable Tom Jennings and William King decide to stay and set themselves up as boom town millionaires. William quickly marries a woman who is one-quarter Indian, but just as quickly she steals his money and runs away with her lover, F. W. McAlpin. Catching up with them in the desert, William fights with McAlpin and leaves him there to die, and then drags his wife back home. She has her revenge, however, as she causes William to be convicted of murdering McAlpin. Tom, meanwhile, has been named sheriff, and now has no choice but to take William to Carson City to be hanged. However, not eager to be responsible for the execution of his best friend, Tom finally is able to win a pardon for William from the governor.
