Synopsis
A fisherman finds a mysterious woman who has washed ashore, and falls in love with her while nursing her back to health. Just before their wedding, however, she runs away with an unscrupulous detective who has been pursuing her because of her involvement in a robbery. Then, the fisherman falls in love with a woman whom he rescues from quicksand. When the detective finds out that the fisherman is the heir to a fortune, however, he sends the first sweetheart back to him, and scares away the second woman by threatening to reveal that her father, who has been mistakenly accused of a crime, is running away from authorities. Once again, the fisherman and the first woman plan their marriage, but just before the ceremony, she sees the man she robbed, and runs away. Hurrying away from the church, she falls into some quicksand, and after her death, the fisherman marries his second sweetheart.
