Synopsis
On a hunting trip, wealthy Robert Duncan stays at Elsie's ranch. Duncan is attracted to her younger sister and convinces the girl to run away and marry him. When Elsie's father learns that Duncan is already married with a child, the shock kills him. Elsie then goes to the city to tell her sister the truth. The sister disappears, but is reunited with Elsie just before her death. Elsie then decides to entrap Duncan by becoming a singer in his favorite café. Fascinated with Elsie (who wears a mask), Duncan goes to her apartment where she reveals herself to him just before the police come to arrest him. Finally she goes back to the ranch and to Dave Harmon, the foreman who loves her.

Notes
An ad for this film claimed that it showed "for the first time successful night photography." Although no director was listed in reviews or ads for this film, it is possible that William Desmond Taylor, who acted in the film, did direct it. A news item in Moving Picture World October 3, 1914, p. 44, related that Taylor was directing, taking his own leads and occasionally writing his own stories for Balboa.
