Trivia

This film is a compilation put together by Keystone to capitalize on the "Chaplin craze" that was at its peak in 1915. It is made up of clips from Chaplin's Keystone comedies, edited together in such a way to tell a "new" story.

Notes

As Chaplin did not make any feature-length films in 1915, this film, which was viewed by the Kansas State Censors on October 4, 1915, was probably a compilation of some of his shorts, including Those Love Pangs (Keystone, 1914) and possibly His New Job (Essanay, 1915). The Kansas censors list Keystone as the sole producing company, and as the 1914 Keystone films were not copyrighted, it is possible that an unauthorized compilation film of the Keystone shorts was made and released in some states. In the censorship records, Wichita is listed as the releasing company, which May or May not have been a state rights distributor. Some scenes were censored by the Board.
