Synopsis
The Rajah of Myore and his son arrive in a small American college town bearing "The Kiss of Death," a famous diamond which fatally curses all who possess it, save the rightful owners. Moreland, a gentleman thief, covets the gem, and blackmails Nell Reardon, a crook known as "The Badger Queen," into helping him steal it. Nell charms the Prince, the Rajah's son, into taking the diamond from the safe and displaying it at a dinner party also attended by Billy, a cub reporter assigned to the Rajah's visit, and Moreland. The diamond accidentally falls into Billy's cuff, but later, when Billy is sleepwalking in the suite above the Rajah, it drops in front of the Prince's feet. He is immediately knocked unconscious by Harley, one of Moreland's henchmen, who in turn gives the diamond to Moreland. Nell alerts the Prince with whom she has fallen in love and he, the Rajah and Billy follow Moreland in an automobile. After a daring chase, the Prince recovers the gem and so impresses his father with his bravery that his indiscretion is forgiven. Nell proclaims her love for the prince, but he rejects her.
