The day after Sorenti and his gang of criminals kidnap millionaire banker Mr. Harrington, Sorenti, posing as a sympathetic friend of the family, visits the banker's daughter Helen in the hope of winning the heiress and her money. Convinced of her lover's innocence, Helen hires Detective Delaney, who soon persuades the police to release Darwin. Having arranged his own abduction by the Sorenti gang, Delaney helps Harrington escape and then leads the police to the gang's headquarters.
