Synopsis
While shooting a documentary, Madelaine Rose, a young director gets a call from Diana, Madelaine's sister-in-law and secret love. Madelaine remains behind the camera, absorbed in her effort to capture the life of painter Daniel Silverman. Within a reel of film, Diana is dead. Ten years later Madelaine and Daniel are speeding along on a desert highway. The memory of Diana and her death are ever present for Madelaine. Daniel doubts Madelaine will fulfill her promise as a director, but he joins her in her quest to recover a cache of stolen film stock. Facing a lifetime of lies, Madelaine speeds into the horizon in hopes of a second chance on life.
