Synopsis
A documentary detailing the life and career of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, which includes current as well as archival interviews from the 1960s and 70s, with St. Laurent's mother, his lover and business partner Pierre Berge, muse Loulou de la Falaise and admirer Lee Radziwill. At age 3, he advised his aunt that her dress and shoes did not work together and at 19 he began designing for Dior. In 1962, he and Berge opened their own fashion house and in 2002, they closed their custom dressmaking business.
