Synopsis
Eager to start his own restaurant, chef Jean-Jacques quits his steady cooking job and searches unsuccessfully for a business loan. He barges in on a biz course taught by clueless Claude, who dreams of writing a novel and, when he does opt for the literary life, elevates procrastination to an art. Meanwhile, Jean-Jacques, unable to sleep when his girlfriend, Noisette, is away most of the time as a flight attendant, gets hooked on a mixture of prescription sleeping pills, rum and orange juice, a blend he administers to his entourage, including Noisette's well-heeled parents. From this peculiar set of circumstances slowly emerges a happy ending.
