Synopsis

The World Missions for Christ Church is out to make a difference. Through intensely personal paths of love and service, the daily trials of poverty test a local congregation. Families experience first homes, first jobs, individual success and shared loss; and, through it all, they rely on the power of God and the open arms of a small church. Weaving song and soul, the tiny church combats low-income housing, public miseducation, homelessness, drug abuse and street violence. Church members gather lost sheep, and approach on foot, those who are broken. Simply, they address the needs their city can't or won't meet.
